ON THE MARK Receives Certificate of Merit in Worldwide Print Competition and numerous Awards in the highly competitive San Francisco/Silicon Valley Area

Capitola - December, 2002 - On the Mark of Capitola received an award for outstanding achievement in the 2002 Premier Print Awards, the graphic arts industry's largest and most prestigious worldwide printing competition hosted by the Printing Industries of America (PIA), Incorporated, the world's largest graphic arts association.

Competing against more than 4,800 entries from printing and graphic arts firms from around the world, On the Mark received a Certificate of Merit. The company's winning submission was a seven color piece and included dramatic effects utilizing a spot gloss UV coating. Additionally, the excellence in print resolution was striking, making the photography look amazingly clean.

The Premier Print Awards is the printing industry's oldest and largest worldwide graphic arts competition. In its 52nd year, the competition recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of print communications. The competition promotes excellence in print communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in print media.

PIA, the host of the Premier Print Awards, is the world's largest graphic arts trade association, representing an industry with more than 1 million employees and $163 billion in annual sales.
Earlier in the year On the Mark won other awards from the San Francisco Gallery Of Superb Printing and in the Showcase Of Print Excellence in printing and design - over a dozen awards in all.
